Pergola

Louvered pergola over a pool-side deck

Warrington, PA · 19 × 13 ft

The homeowners wanted to use their back deck on bright afternoons and rainy evenings, not only on perfect days. The deck sits above the pool, so the roof had to stand clear of the railing and the house.

We measured on site, ordered the frame to size and put it up in two days: posts anchored to the deck structure, beams, louvers, then the motor and lighting wiring. Before we left we tested every louver position and walked the owners through the controls.

Now the louvers tilt for shade or close fully for rain, the side screens cut low sun and add privacy, and the LED strips make the deck usable after dark.

Awning

Retractable awning with LED arms

Colts Neck, NJ · 20 × 10 ft

The back of this house gets sun for most of the day, and the patio below had no cover. The owners wanted shade that disappears when they do not need it.

We measured the wall, chose a width and projection that covers the seating area, and mounted the awning across the windows. Power, motor and LED strips were wired and tested on the same visit.

One press on the remote opens or closes it, a wind sensor pulls it in on its own when the wind picks up, and the lights in the arms turn the patio into an evening space.
